It's been almost four years since We Started Nothing was released by Jules de Martino and Katie White, collectively known as The Ting Tings – a surprisingly long hiatus considering the immense success of their chart-topping debut album. But the duo have been constantly sharing their time between the stage and the recording studio crafting their second offering Sounds from Nowhereville, which released this week in the UK and will be in stores on March 15 in the U.S. We met up with the band to talk about the album's creation, why a previous sophomore album they previously made in Berlin was shelved, the evolution of their multi-genre sound, their experiences with Cypress Hill on the road, and much more.
