Chris Brown to feature on Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake” remix
By Aymen Ahmed / News / February 16, 2012 / 2832 Views

The remix to Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake” will feature none other than recent Grammy award winner and ex-boyfriend to the Barbadian, Chris Brown. Da Internz, who produced the track, confirmed to MTV: “the feature on [the remix] is gonna shock the world.” Miss Info also confirms potentially feature a rap and singing verse from Brown. This collaboration is likely to raise eyebrows from a lot of circles, and will no doubt leave women’s rights groups having their say in the very near future. Leave your thoughts on Chris Brown and Rihanna’s vocal reconciliation below.

No matter how far Chris Brown goes with music and no matter how many awards they give him, he's still a bitch and doesn't deserve any respect. How can anyone respect someone who puts hands on a female?

  • realshit

you're probably one of those retarded girls on twitter tweeting that you wouldn't mind if Chris Brown beat the shit out of you huh?

Rihanna, think of the message you are sending your young female fans! They look up to you, and you are sending a message that what Chris did to you is acceptable! it saddens me because you could be such a role model to women across the globe by simply saying NO to a collaboration with Chris Brown. Instead, you are condoning violence in relationships. sad, sad news. I would have had so much respect for you if you could be the strong woman young fans need you to be.

It's call forgiveness. I would understand if she wasn't gonna do a song with him be she choose to so she can. people drive me crazy with how they never can learn how to forgive. It would be different if he went on to beat several other women.

  • Pariah789

Rihanna is a woman who can make her own decisions. Clearly she got over the fact that Chris Brown beat her, and though I am not defended Brown, is it not up to Rihanna to choose whether or not she wants to forgive him. People get so involved with the lives of celebrities that they start thinking they have a say, and what does a women's right group have to do with this. Rihanna choose, its not like Chris said "let me get on that remix or ill beat the shit out of your face again"

  • Johnedoe

but mayweather is a boxer and doesnt market him self at woman, therefore it has no correlation. Chris browns main target audience is young girls, therefore him beating up rihanna had relevance.

  • Johnedoe

so basically if chris brown beat up your mother or your sister you'd be cool with it. If not that statement was invalid.

  • Johnedoe

this just proves that females in general are easily blinded by image. Because chris brown is marketed as a good looking loving guy no matter what he does in reality matters. people are so blinded by image. Mike tyson, mayweather, etc are boxers and got numerous stick for abusing women. Mayweather is even going to do time. Yet because chris brown is a rnb singer. Its all cool. lool Tbh you cant even blame chris brown in the slightest its the people like rihanna and the millions of girls supporting him who are the fools. Hes just laughing at their expense.

chris gonna give her the birthday BUMPS

  • LULZ

People need to chill, chris brown fucked up, he says he's sorry. are you gonna prosecute him till he dies? like y'all dont have fucked up shit y'all done and people have forgiven y'all for it.

some of your folks, uncles and aunties do worse and people forgive them, they learn and never do it again. .... My aunt's husband beat her up real bad about 20yrs ago she forgave dude and he's never laid hands on her since then, he ended up being a wonderful father and husband.

he's young he made a mistake, hopefully he's learned cut him some slack bloody hypocrites.

Man niggas act like they don't know what forgiveness is nowadays...

  • XisforXylophone

this song is gonna be a hit

  • Jusaying

I think what Jay is trying to say is that Chris is hated on a lot more than others who have made huge mistakes. Reason: His major F-up had mass media attention because it had to do with another celebrity. Loads of other celebs have made just as many horrific decisions. They are just not as well known because TMZ didn't bother to find pictures/there are no pictures.
It's your own decision whether or not you choose to hear his music, but judging someone else based on what you hear in the media is shallow.
For the record: I hate what he did. But I believe in remorse and moving on.

Trust me, if Rihanna wanted to show that this was acceptable then they would still be dating and she probably would not have told the world and taken it to court. She is obviously becoming more and more comfortable with the situation and knows Chris Brown way more than any of us ever will, therefore she is the most qualified to make an educated decision.

That is a terrible point. The reason people are mad at Chris Brown is not because he disappointed his audience but because he beat a woman. That is the crime and that is all that is looked at. The only reason Floyd Mayweather's situation is perceived lightly and underwraps is because his baby mama is not one of the most popular female musicians in the world. Chris Brown and Rihanna's incident blew up because they are both celebrities and two of the more successful artists in the pop genre.
