Van Halen announces 2012 tour

Following the news that they signed with Interscope last month, legendary rock outfit Van Halen has now informed the world that there is a big tour shaping up. Despite announcing dates, the band, which was formed by David Lee Roth in 1972, has unveiled an entertaining teaser video which hints at some serious stage energy in 2012. The black-and-white clip shows guitarist Eddie Van Halen and drummer Alex Van Halen, along with original lead singer David Lee Roth and Eddie’s son, Wolfgang, on bass. Tickets go on sale January 10.
