Jay-Z and Kanye West earn $6 million for playing ‘Sweet 16′ birthday party

Jay-Z and Kanye West were paid no less than $2.9 million each to perform at a ‘Sweet 16’ birthday party for the daughter of an Emirati billionaire. The event, which took place two weeks ago, but details of which have only just been revealed, saw The Throne being flown out to Dubai for the party and perform various tracks from Watch the Throne as well as a number of their own individual hits.

    How is making money pathetic? Both those artist are known for their philanthropy so a portion of those earnings are more than likely going to a charity of some sort.
