According to our readership Kendrick Lamar's impressive debut offering Section.80 has scratched at the top spot but received literally one vote less than Watch the Throne.     I think that Take Care is good but overrated.. As for J. Cole, I actually liked the Friday Night Lights mixtape more than his debut album.

    and also dont say drakes over rated......kendrick lamar is over rated. drake at least did well on two albums, mixtapes , and features and you were impress and became a GROUPIE.....and kendrick lamar on ther other hand drop his album didnt do better than drakes first and also he did did good on some features. but you cant find one song drake did awful on..but i can find plenty of song kendrick did awful though.

    Shows that fans on HypeTrak know what they're talking about. Cole should be before or after Take Care though, in my opinion.

    ight if you honestly think that Section.80 wasn't better than Take Care, then your clearly just more into singers that's all. TOP 3's for the most part are always interchangeable thats why they get recognition. either way the best albums we got are in the top 3 positions as far as hip-hop goes, you can't blame an R&B fan for feeling the Weeknd or Drake more it's only natural same for rap fans with Section.80 and Watch the Throne anyway.... tnnmusic.com yall be safe

    and J.Cole know Friday Night Lights was better that's why it was used before his first album... it makes since to have a better drop before your album nowadays exhibit A So Far Gone... Thank Me Later...that way you get real fans before you really dive into the radio appeal.

    Great list. I'm probably one the few that liked Cole World a bit more than Friday Night Lights. Not to take anything away from FNL cuz it was truly a great mixtape but Cole World was better overall. Production, sequencing, well balanced. While Friday Night Lights was better lyrically it was all over the place sequencing wise. But that's cuz it was a mixtape. I think more people liked FNL cuz it was rawer sounding than CW while CW sounded more polished. Very good list overall. Although I would put R4 by KRIT at number 1 instead of Watch The Throne
