Common featuring John Legend – The Believer

Another audio impression from Common's highly anticipated new album The Dreamer/The Believer in the shape of the semi title track, "The Believer." The uplifting tune finds the Chi-Town native teaming up with his G.O.O.D. Music comrade John Legend. Similar to the LP's first single, "Blue SKy," the message of the song appeals to one's motivation and persistence. The Dreamer/The Believer drops December 20. Stream below.

    John Legend is one of the few these days that I view as having a real contribution to the songs he collaborates on. Instead of the regular girl to come in and do her plug.

    "Much anticipated" regarding Common? This dudes next drop is NOT highly anticipated after the futuristic lp he dropped last time. We are anticipating HOW he will come across, but not the LP itself...

    NOBODY will agree with this.... but he shoulda put Frank Ocean insteada John Legend (Johns voice is better and Frank is sings flat) but as far as Legend rebounding from his last effort, Frank would have youthenized and revamped his approach and brought new fans.

    Maybe no one around YOU is talking about this album, but it definitely is "much anticipated". And with every leak, the anticipation grows. With songs like "Ghetto Dreams" and "Sweet", we know damn well not to expect another UMC.
