Skrillex featuring The Doors – Breakin’ a Sweat

Part of the new RE:GENERATION film by director Amir Bar Lev that intriguingly pairs up five popular producers alongside artists from five different generations. We dropped the Nas and DJ Premier with Berklee School of Music Orchestra earlier today, while some of other drops include Mark Ronson and Erykah Badu with members of the Dap Kings and Trombone Shorty, and The Crystal Method with Martha Reeves. Check out the Skrillex record with The Doors below. The film will drop some in the first quarter of next year, stay tuned.

by 12 year olds. he's one of those dudes who doesn't perform. his external hard drive crashed at a show and he didn't have a leg to stand on. his music relies too strongly on that god-awful WOBBLE WOMP and the rise-and-fall rollercoaster crescendos. not to discredit you, if you like it

Skrillex is a new jack to dubstep, he's not one of the best he's just popular amongst fucking 12 year olds. Datisk, excision, daladubz, benga, those are some of the OG's and real dubstep artists

obviously we all have our opinions on skrillex or for better more, any artist. people will either hate em' or love em' just the way the cookie crumbles.

Skrillex, in my eyes, is a brilliant artist. His sounds are so crisp and has brought a lot of producers wanting to have the same sounds he makes.
I do think Skrillex does make a lot of songs that sound pretty much the same but I do have a huge open mind for music and appreciate what he has done for the dubstep genre.

Seeing him live at Lollapalooza 2011 was amazing. The music was loud but the crowd was crazy. When an artist can bring such a high energy to a crowd, it makes me so happy.
