Jay-Z teams up with adidas for Nets logo and uniforms

More details on Jay-Z's role in developing the Brooklyn Nets team logo and uniforms have surfaced, as it appears a partnership with adidas has taken place. This following news that Jay-Z will also be rolling out several performances at the new Barclay Center in Brooklyn next year to kick things off. What do you guys think of the partnership with adidas?

    You do realize that Adidas owns the league's uniform contract, right? They make all 30 teams' jerseys. They have a "partnership" with EVERY team.

    Your right Adidas holds major contracts with the NBA just like Reebok does with the NFL they create and license all the official gear. However I don't think logos are a part of that contract, most teams have in-house creative departments or they contract the logo design to outside design firms so I guess it is interesting that he would get the Adidas creative department to do the actual logo with all the great design firms NY has to offer. but as far as jerseys go, no surprise there Adidas has to do the jerseys - no compromising
