Lil Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter IV’ could debut at No. 1 with 700,000 copies sold

According to Billboard, Lil Wayne's just-released Tha Carter IV album could achieve the second biggest sales week of the year. Industry forecasters suggest it may sell 700,000-850,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on next Sunday, September 4. If this is the case, the LP will mark the second largest frame of any album this year, behind Lady Gaga's Born This Way that debuted with 1.11 million copies sold.

Why do people leave out facts? WTT was pre-released and sold on itunes and did 321,00 copies. Why arent ppl factoring the numers. If 321,00mppl already bought it, how much did u really expect WTT to really sell? 436,000 is a great number if you ask me. So what you ppl are telling me is, those same ppl would not have purchased the album anyways, pre-release or not? Add the figures up ppl. Technically WTT did over $700,000 in the 1st week. Anyways C4 was wack as shit. Those punchlines are really starting to suck. Cats ride Wayne so hard based off the C1 and C2 heat. Those were very good albums, C3 was average. This one is just wack. I used to like Wayne so much. Tisk Tisk. C4 aint better than WTT. Its not even close.
