Diggy Simmons – Copy, Paste

Diggy Simmons rolls out the official video for "Copy, Paste," the first single from his upcoming Atlantic Records debut. In true major label fashion, the visual lives it up off a high budget and displays the young artist crafting his rhyming skills in the lab. In an interview with Rap-Up, Diggy gives a little explanation on what the song is about.

“'Copy, Paste' is about just giving an anthem to original people, innovators, people that feel like their style's been copy, pasted.”

    Well, most kids (and adults) were/are trying to be like Pharrell. He was imitating his idol, that happens when you're 15.

    Too bad Atlantic got their hands on him though, they love trying to turn hip-hop acts into mainly pop ones, i.e. B.o.B. and Lupe. Kid seems to have the lyrics but the package ... ehhhhh.
