Describing it as his darkest remix yet, Chicago's very own Sound Remedy has succeeded in delivering a compelling modern-day version of Ludwig van Beethoven's timeless "Moonlight Sonata." The producer nicely blends modern electro/dubstep elements with the classic genre and makes the listener forget about the 200 years difference between the original and the refix. Not a bad move after reinterpreting music by the likes of James Blake and Lupe Fiasco.

there is nothing wrong with re-interpreting the work of another composer, the classical composers did it to each other, and it happens in the modern day. ultimately it shows respect for the original creator and it also gives them more exposure. not that beethoven needs it, he's dead.
