Amy Winehouse dies at age 27

Amy Winehouse, soul-jazz diva whose self-destructive habits always accompanied her undeniable musical talent, was found dead Saturday in her London home. She was 27. Police confirmed that a 27-year-old female was pronounced dead at the home in Camden Square northern London. The cause of death was not immediately known. London Ambulance Services reported Winehouse had died before the two ambulance crews it sent arrived at the scene. Her unique talent will be more than just missed.

    Sorry to hear a person die at such a young age . but lets be real no one cared about this girl when see was alive and everyone called her all kinds of names because her addiction to drugs. Winehouse had one hit and sure, if she wasnt a heroin addict she could have made something more of herself but she never would have been on their level. Also, I love Cudi.     We can debate her talent till we're blue in the face, the fact is Amy was a moment in music history and she contributed in a huge way.  A misfit?  Yeah.  Smackhead?  Yeah.  But one that came with insatiable talent.  Frank was a great album for young London in the early 2000's, Back To Black tore it up (and her in the process).

    History will remember her.  Nuff said.
