Usually swaying between rap and rock music, Lil Wayne is never one to shy away from other genres. This is the case with the alleged next single from his highly anticipated Tha Carter IV project. Entitled "How to Love," the Detail-produced jam is an acoustic ballad that offers a new side of Weezy. It remains to be seen if this soulful jam will garner him significant radio airplay, but it sure is an interestingly different approach. You be the judge.

    Unfortunately, he didn't lay down a verse which could have really pulled this song together. Also, the auto-tuning on this is a lot more mainstream R&Bish, and not over the top like we're used to hearing from Wayne, and like it or not he made that work for him as a style. The production on his vocals on this one has taken away a lot of his signature sound.

    If I didn't see the song title, I would think this song would be called haaaalaaalaaaaaaaa. 

    But anyways, nothing remarkable about this. Even for radio play. If it does, succeed in radio play then mainstream hip hop is worse off than I thought.
