Lupe Fiasco featuring Hayley Williams – Airplanes (Original)

It appears that Lupe Fiasco was more than just an inspiration for B.o.B. After the original version of "Nothing On You" appeared a few months ago, the first take on the Hayley Williams-powered "Airplanes" emerges onto the blogosphere. Although the ATL rapper created a special song out of this, the track would have been a nice addition to the Lasers tracklist. Thoughts?

    It probably would have fitted well on Lasers, going with the more 'pop' theme. I think this version is better than B.o.B.'s. Bobby Ray's was clearly set for a charts smash. Lupe makes this a more soulful and meaningful track, placing the focus on the message and the vibe, rather than for a catchy song for the consumers.

    I def like this version a lot better. When I first heard that this was originally his song I knew it was prolly better than B.o.B.'s. I feels like Lasers.

    BOB had a whole lyrical story to his vision. Lupe just uses his wordplay, and tells a more complex(different perspective) story.
