Kanye’s Engineer Mike Dean Shares Details on “Watch the Throne”
By Davis Huynh / News / April 15, 2011 / 3494 Views

In the 14th episode of Pensado's Place, Kanye West's engineer Mike Dean joins Dave and Herb to talk about his career, pioneering the "Dirty South" sound, and working with Kanye West on all of his albums which also included the highly-anticipated collabo project with himself and Jay-Z. Quite a long piece, but certainly interesting for the audio heads out there. He does reveal that the project is in the final phases of completion and that he's had a hand in co-producing 4-5 records on the album. He also stated the initial mix was lackluster and he may end up mixing the whole project himself.

Artists don't get discovered by posting their names in comments on music sites but by producing real, good music that people like.

To put it in terms you'll understand: STFU
