When discussing the biggest artists in underground hip-hop, the names Atmosphere and Aesop Rock are frequently brought up. It's not often that the two acts team up on a track together, but they decided to do so as part of a special 12" picture disc that Rhymesayers Entertainment put out in celebration of Record Store Day this past Saturday. The song, entitled "Which Way Is Up?," features a verse each from Aesop and Slug (of Atmosphere) and serves as a precursor to the concert the two will be holding together at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA on May 7. If you're interested in buying the 6-song picture disc, your best bet is to head over to Fifth Element and see if any of the 1,000 copies remain.
