The thing about John Legend is he has this really unique way of approaching songs. His vocal range is so diverse, but he always manages to bring his own flavour and energy to the track. Like he has this trademark sound, where you hear him and say: Yup. That’s John. You can feel the energy in his voice, and it fits so well with melodies in the song. Legendary man.

Adele still has the edge, the backing track really finishes the song. Legend gets points for stripping it down and putting his own touch on it, but I prefer hers. Huge Legend fan though.
