According to the RIAA, Nicki Minaj's debut album Pink Friday has been certified platinum after shipping 1 million units in the U.S. since it dropped on November 22. The certification became official on December 17. This also signifies that Minaj's album sales have surpassed Kanye's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and Jay-Z's Greatest Hits which were released on the same day. Pink Friday also moved up from No. 8 to the spot numer 4 on this week's Billboard 200. Kudos!
