Jay Electronica & Mtn Dew Code Red: Hip Hop is Different on the Mountain
by Davis Huynh / Music Videos / December 23, 2010 / 1123 Views

Jay Electronica looks to wrap up a successful 2010 with this new feature with Mountain Dew. Not exactly a new record but a remix of his track “The Announcement” which is set to be used on Mountain Dew’s “It’s Different on the Mountain” ad campaign. Although it is a visual, you can still listen in. Enjoy!

You should be happy his music is getting more attention. Well if you actually consider, or once considered yourself a fan. Looks like hit lyrical ability hasn't slowed down either.

Come on, selling out means he sacrifices his beliefs, skills, values and whatnot to gain popularity or money, which he did not do on the commercial. Matter fact, he emphasized that it is different on his mountain.
