Just last year the Beastie Boys had plans to drop their Hot Sauce Committee Part 1 album, but just as that and the tour was coming into fruition, an unfortunate turn of events came about as Adam Yauch was diagnosed with cancer. Good news is, today he is cancer free and as a result, he the boys are gearing up to fulfill their initial plans of releasing the album. Only thing is, Hot Sauce Committee Part 1 will be delayed indefinitely, while Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 is looking at a Spring 2011 release. Here's the official transcript from band's website:
"ALTHOUGH WE REGRET TO INFORM YOU THAT 'HOT SAUCE COMMITTEE PART 1' WILL CONTINUE TO BE DELAYED INDEFINITELY, 'HOT SAUCE COMMITTEE PART 2' WILL BE RELEASED ON TIME AS ORIGINALLY PLANNED IN SPRING OF 2011."
