With the increasing hype surround her forthcoming album /\/\/\Y/\ , Maya Arulpragasam, better known as M.I.A., recently joined famed New York photographer Ryan McGinley on a two-day photo shoot through Manhattan and Brooklyn for the latest issue of the New York Times magazine.The result, which you can check out after the jump, is simply amazing. /\/\/\Y/\ is due July 13th.
