Hypetrak proudly presents a visual snippet for Mansions On The Moon's new track "Space To Breathe". Filmed by talented Shomi Patwary of directing collective Illusive Media, the footage shows the band working their magic in the recording studio. In case you are still not familiar with Mansions On The Moon, check again. The trio from Virginia is indeed making good music that boasts sufficient potential to become a fixture on today's music charts. Here is a short introduction to the band.
The origins of Mansions on the Moon have been kind of a mystery with the sudden rise of their fan base within the blogosphere. Ben Hazlegrove (Producer / Keyboard / Vocals) and Lane Shaw (Drummer) are members from the group Pnuma Trio. They just finished their tour last month and went straight to the studio with Ted Wendler (Lead Vocals, Guitar) to work with Mansions on the Moon.
Influential producers Dj Benzi and Diplo heard their sound and instantly decided to work on the soon to be released mixtape which is expected to feature remixes and collaborations from Chiddy Bang and Chuck Inglish from The Cool Kids. When their manager, N*E*R*D's Shae Haley, presented their demo to Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo who became instant fans of the sound and have taken interest in possibly executive producing the debut album.
Special thanks to Shomi Patwary.
