The xx – Islands

London-based indie pop band The xx release an artistic video for their single "Islands" off their self-titled album. Director Saam Farahmand places a seemingly repetitive choreography into action until it eventuelly becomes clear that each take is an individual one indicating the complicated nature of today's relationship between both genders. In the meantime, the trio attend this choreographic frenzy rather passively. Definitely entertaining to watch.
