Q-Tip links up with the talented, go-to music video director nowadays, Rik Cordero for this short cinema. This Renaissance Rap video shoot was inspired by the Beastie Boys’ Sabotage music video, as it features Q-Tip playing a Hip-Hop Jason Bourne-like character and eluding what looks like the Hip-Hop police. Nothing excessive, just simple and sweet. Renaissance Rap is just one of the featured singles on Tip’s new album, The Renaissance. In stores now, and unquestionably one of the best Hip Hop albums this year. Check it out.
