Wavves a.k.a. San Diego’s Nathan Williams is a lo-fi gem whose distortion heavy pop tunes rival that of The Jesus and Mary Chain. The surf-punk savant has released a limited self-titled cassette on Fuck It Tapes. The 30 min, 12 track album will also be available on vinyl in the near future.
