This track “Press Start” from Electronic group Hayzee and the accompanying video is a nod to those of us who can relate to a joystick,a few buttons and a cartridge that you had to blow directly into to get it to work. The song literally combines the clicks, beeps and computer sounds that sound eerily like the soundtrack to Zelda or Mario Brothers with hard percussion that is more Pete Rock then Daft Punk. This song and its clever video definitely makes me want to leave the four piece band video games alone and go back to the basics. I’m still the man in Techmo Bowl. Who wants to play me?
