I’m a My Morning Jacket fan but not a huge, fan site visiting MMJ tattooing fan. But, when I heard that the band’s album Evil Urges had Prince (as in The Artist not Harry) influences I was sold before I heard one note. Mainly because I am a fan site visiting, the symbol tattooing Prince fan (okay not that far). The album definitely delivered and one of the stand out tracks on the album is “Touch Me I’m Going To Scream Pt. 2″. The song isn’t so much one of the Prince sounding tracks but it’s definitely funkier and more R&B tinged then the band earlier work. The video has a Where The Wild Things Are feel to it. And, again I am proven right about animation revolution being upon us. I should start taking bets.
